When a gas is cooled to very low temperatures, it is possible to achieve a regime where its behavior ceases to be classical. In this way, the traditional view we have of a gas as consisting of particles of a disordered motion is no longer maintained. If the gas particles are of the boson type, the state reached in the regime of ultra-low temperature, culminates in the formation of a new phase called Bose-Einstein Condensation (BEC). This name was chosen due to the fact that this state was initially predicted by Albert Einstein in 1925 using for this the theoretical bases contained in the work of the scientist Nath Bose. This theory was largely responsible for the choice of Nobel awards in the years 2001 and 2012; and despite this, Bose was never awarded or duly recognized for his work. For all these reasons, structural masonry has been widely used in the Brazilian civil construction industry, encompassing buildings of all finishing standards. Thus, short deadlines and reduced costs are the laws that guide today's construction projects. To meet these important requirements, new techniques are being deployed and improved. This paper will address a development in structural masonry based on a residential construction profile showing how a construction system can have both positive and negative impacts on a job in relation to costs and deadlines. Beyond presenting the main concepts of this construction method, this paper also includes a case study showing how this method could be implemented and the main issues that arise at a construction site due to bad service and/or poor inspection. Study of one dimensional unsteady heat transfer in a rectangular slab with a finite length along x-direction and unit thickness along y-direction consists of development of Heisler's chart. Temperature of the slab increases due to convection heat transfer at the boundary and internal heat generation. The 1-D heat conduction equation is solved by the method of separation of variables by assuming initial fixed uniform temperature and axisymmetric boundary conditions. The eigen value of the equation is determined from the non-linear equation which is solved by the method of bisection. Heisler's chart is redeveloped for centerline temperature profile and temperature distribution at different x/L values for various Fourier numbers and Biot numbers without considering the internal heat generation............... Empowering woman is a perquisite for creating a good nation, when women are empowered, society with stability is assured. Empowerment of women is essential as their value systems lead to the development of a good family, good society and ultimately a good nation. In a male dominated society, women have always been underestimated and discriminated in all spheres of life be it their family and social life or their economic and political life. Moreover, the traditional duties of managing households create hindrances in their social and economic empowerment. While there is no consensus about its definition, empowerment broadly construed refers to the process of enhancing the capacity of individuals or groups to make choicesand totransform those choices.............. Entrepreneurship education is geared towards making individuals creators and managers of businesses however, in Nigeria this objective has remained unattainable due to poor implementation in universities. Successful implementation of entrepreneurship education has been linked to the educator's level of understanding and interpretation of the five dimensions of Entrepreneurship Education (24). Thus, there is the need to understand how entrepreneurship educators communicate their understanding of the five dimensions in the effective implementation of EE in Nigeria. This paper reports a study that tries to understand how entrepreneurship lecturers training Engineers spontaneously communicate their understanding of the dimensions as indicators of their perceptions of who they are, their roles, their institutions, and students.............. Chitin and chitosan are renewable natural biopolymers having extensive applications in food and many other industries due to their low toxicity, biocompatibility, biodegradability, etc. The main industrial raw material for chitin production is waste from seafood industries that consist of exoskeleton remains of crustaceans. Isolation of chitin from prawn shells involved demineralization, deproteinization and purification processes. Chitin was converted to chitosan through deacetylation using 45% NaOH by different physical treatments; steeping at ambient temperature, thermal heating and microwave radiation. Chitosan produced from chitin was characterized using FTIR analysis........... Keywords - Chitin, Chitosan, Degree of De-Acetylation @article{key:article,

Cloud detection is the prerequisite for multi-spectral satellite cloud image analysis. The traditional cloud detection method cannot well characterize multispectral satellite cloud images, which leads to a low accuracy in cloud detection. Although deep convolutional neural network can extract features effectively, it will have problems such as gradient diffusion low training efficiency, hard optimization, and poor generalization. In order to solve these problems, a multidimensional densely connected convolutional neural network is proposed to realize cloud detection of multi-spectral satellite imagery............... With the increase in water demand for various purposes, the output of the reservoirs is a valuable resource. However, a natural phenomenon such as sedimentation, which cannot be eliminated completely, decreases this output. Not only do the sediments decrease the reservoir capacity, but also destroy the machinery such as turbines, etc. Various methods have been brought forth to scour the sediments from the base of the reservoir but not many of them are feasible enough to be applied. Out of all the available methods, sluicing may be considered as an efficient method. Although sluicing may also cause disastrous effects on the downstream side if not carefully monitored, however the disadvantage is less as compared to the conventional flushing. The perennial availability of a minimum head in sluicing not only makes the process fit for reservoir conservation but keeps the power output steady..............
