It is especially important for companies worldwide to select the right supplier in their supply chains every time they purchase raw materials or finished goods, in terms of the total cost of products to be sold. The decision of choosing among several supplierswilling to quote the raw materials and the products a company needs, is a decision-making process that becomes complex. The objective of this work is to present an optimization model that considers the price offered, the common lead time, the lead time variation and the weighted average capital cost (WACC) of the goods a company needs to buy in order to determine from which supplier(s) the goods should be purchased. Keywords - Supplier selection, sensitivity analysis, lead time variation, weighted average capital cost, optimization. @article{key:article,

Braille is a tactile form of reading and writing for the visually impaired, developed by Louis Braille that uses a system of raised dots. Each Braille "cell' orcharacter contains a combination of up to 6 dots. The paper addresses different approaches used to read, recognize, and translate Braille to English via Optical Dot Recognition algorithms using machine learning and Python. We propose a Digital Image Braille Character Recognition, Extraction & Translation System [DIBCRETS], also known asTACT-EYE,which has been tested and can be used by volunteers at NGOs and other organizations for the blind with limited training. In order to calculate the internal static pressure and total pressure of the nozzle flowmeter under different flow rates, the distribution law of internal static pressure and total pressure in the physical model of nozzle flowmeter under different flow values was explored by solving Navier-Stokes equations, pressure and velocity coupling. It is found that there is a close relationship between the static pressure inside the nozzle flowmeter and the total pressure characteristics and the change of flow rate. In the horizontal plane where the fluid flows through the upstream surface, downstream surface, outlet surface and the central axis of the nozzle flowmeter, the numerical variation law and pressure area are different on the four surfaces. The optimal superimposed velocity value is an important parameter for velocity analysis and migration imaging. How to find the optimal superimposed velocity value from a large amount of signal data is a key issue in interpreting seismic data. In this paper, the signal data is processed by introducing hough transform edge extraction and vector analysis peak detection method, using hough change search to determine the maximum "energy sequence" and peak detection algorithm and cumulative calculation to determine a set of signal values that meet the minimum energy error criterion, and The best superimposing speed can be found through this set of signals. The result of the example shows that the algorithm in this paper realizes the automatic pick-up of the superimposed speed, and meets the accuracy requirements in actual engineering, and can quickly provide a reasonable and effective speed model for subsequent data analysis. In today's competitive business environment, there is a greater need for the managers of the various organizations to adopt scientific techniques in managing their operations efficiently so as to achieve the competitive advantage in every part of the organization. One of the scientific techniques that can be applied to the assignment problems is the Workforce optimization. We present a novel solution designed to bridge the gap between the need for high-quality matches and the need for timeliness. The studymodeled Shama Senior High School tender - project as an Assignment Problem. The main goal of the studywas to model Shama Senior High School Tender – project as an assignment problem so as to minimize total cost of executing the projects while ensuring the quality of work.......... The aim of this research was to evaluate the nutritional content, total flavonoid content, and antibacterial activity of bitter melon (Momordica charantia). Bitter melon was prepared in the form of juice and powder, each was analyzed for proximate, total flavonoid content, and antibacterial activity (Lactic Acid Bacteria, Escherichia coli , Salmonella sp.). The first stage showed that bitter melon juice contains 0.17% protein and 0.01 crude fiber, while bitter melon powder contains 23.06% protein and 18.83 crude fiber. The bitter melon powder had more flavonoid content than bitter melon juice. Meanwhile, the antioxidant content of bitter melon powder was less than bitter melon juice. The antibacterial activity of bitter melon showed a very significant effect (P<0.01). Bitter melon powder produced wider clear zones (Lactic Acid Bacteria, Escherichia coli , and Salmonella sp.) Than bitter melon juice. Keywords - Momordica charantia, nutritional content, antibacterial activity @article{key:article,

Drowsiness ranks among the highest causes of road accidents in countries all over the world. Hence, it has become imperative for the issue of drowsy driving to be tackled in order to reduce the heavy toll on human life and property exacted by drowsiness-related road fatalities. Various scientific research, have shown that drowsiness is not instantaneous, but, rather, is a gradual process preceded by various changes in the individual's body system, such as the circulatory system. Hence, a system with a capability to sense and measure these changes in a driver's body system is the key to the reduction of drowsiness-related road fatalities. Various methods have been used to build such systems, however many of them are too expensive and complex for the use of the average car owner. Because of this.......
