In this study, BaTiO3 has been prepared from aqueous solution of barium acetate and titanium dioxide mixture. After drying, the barium titanate was obtained through solid state reaction. The thermal analysis TG-DTA and XRD techniques were used to study the formation of BaTiO3 and the mechanism of formation as well. The effects of powder activation, calcination temperature and time on the formation of barium titanate were studied. It was found that, the use of barium acetate retarded the formation of BaTiO3 and increased the temperature at which the reaction is completed. However, the coating process offered by this synthesis method for unmilled powder might be very useful in producing BaTiO3 powder having core shell morphology, where the BaTiO3 core is surrounded by a thin layer of Ba2TiO4 as a shell. The mosque architecture that deserves to use as a starting point in the analysis of architectural changes in Indonesian mosques is the Wali mosque as an early generation mosque in Indonesia. As a reference, the architectural element characteristic of Wali mosque (local mosque) needs to be known, so that this paper aims to find a description of a local mosque (Wali mosque), and also description of architectural elements of nonlocal mosques (mosques with foreign cultural context) because one of the causes of changes in mosque architecture is cultural factors. The findings of this paper are expected to be input for further studies on the details of physical changes in the architectural elements of mosques in Indonesia....... To accomplish precise numerical simulation for transient problem in fluid machinery, a precise method was put forward—numerical simulation based on external performance results. Wherein rotational acceleration was taken into account and experimental results was taken as initial condition and boundary condition of numerical simulation, The merits of sliding mesh technique and dynamic mesh technique were fully applied respectively. The object is a low-specific-speed centrifugal pump, whose impeller is open and designed with straight blades. There is a clear head impact phenomenon. Additional head of model pump mainly comes from rotational acceleration and has nothing to do with flowing acceleration. The rise processes of flowrate and head evidently lag behind that of rotational speed.......... Child and maternal health have been one of the biggest challenges over decades in developing countries which override other health challenges associated with environmental factors as a result of the previous century aftermath where war's, flooding's, volcanic eruptions, urbanization, environmental pollution and environmental degradations were experienced. Both environmental and socio-economic factors greatly and adversely affect our health especially children and pregnant women's. Disease like kwashiorkor, marasmus, Anemia, birth related deformities and complications after delivery are all associated mostly with food insecurity, poor food preservation techniques, low socio-economic status, as well as challenges to do with political will with which in turn affect our health and thus influence our quality of life........... The purpose of this study is to identify the profile of cocoa farmer groups in terms of aspects: social, dynamics and independence. This study uses a mixed method to examine the strengthening of social capital in empowering farmer groups to become independent. Respondents in this study were members and administrators of farmer groups, who were equipped with informants from community leaders and the government. The combined method chosen is concurrent triangulation, quantitative and qualitative methods together in data collection and analysis. Data collection research using questionnaire techniques, participant observation, in-depth interviews. The fishing vessels using cantrang in Tegal city are known to be increasing, this is marked by the increasing number of production produced and landed at Tegalsari Beach Fisheries Port (BFP). The more number of challenging vessels operating, the influence of these fishing groups will be more dominating the economy of the surrounding community. The purpose of this study was to determine the cantrang fisheries in the Tegalsari region which were reviewed from several aspects such as the number and size of vessels operating, the number of landed fishes caught, the composition of catches, and the productivity of cantrang vessels. The method used in the study is observation and productivity calculation using the CPUE (catch per unit effort) formula. The results showed that there were 831 units of ships.......... Emotional intelligence has become a very popular concept for psychological, educational and management researchers from the past years. Emotional Intelligence refers to a cluster of traits or abilities relating to the emotional side of life- abilities such as recognising and managing one's own emotions, being able to motivate oneself and restrain one's impulses, recognising and managing others' emotions and handling interpersonal relationships in an effective manner. The term emotional intelligence (EI) has its roots in the concept of Social Intelligence, as identified by Thorndike in 1920. Thorndike defines social intelligence as "the ability to understand and manage people - to act wisely in human relations." Psychologists have proposed a variety of definitions of emotional intelligence viz. @article{key:article,

Construction industry is highly risk prone, with complex and dynamic project environments creating an atmosphere of high uncertainty and risk. The industry is vulnerable to various technical, sociopolitical and business risks. The track record to cope with these risks has not been very good in construction industry. As a result, the people working in the industry bear various failures, such as, failure of abiding by quality and operational requirements, cost overruns and uncertain delays in project completion. In light of this, it can be said that an effective systems of risk assessment and management for construction industry remains a challenging task for the industry practitioners. The aim of the this research is to identify and evaluate current risks and uncertainties in the construction industry through extensive literature survey and aims to make a basis for future studies for development of a risk management framework to be adopted by prospective investors, developers and contractors. Mean adult life span was correlated with larval weight, cocoon weight, shell weight, shell percentage and filament length in the four bivoltines. Based on the Pearson correlation co-efficient estimations, there is correlation between adult longevity and larval weight. Based on the Pearson correlation co-efficient estimations there is strong correlation between adult longevity and three cocoon characters namely cocoon weight, shell weight and shell percentage. Insignificant correlations were observed among races/breed between adult life span and filament length. Among the four bivoltines C108 was included under group I with lowest R2 values. Complete edentulizmis a wide-spread problem in nowadays old society. Creating vacuum during the process of impression taking is an informal method for quality. The vacuum or the negative pressure has to be obtained and between soft tissues and denture base. In this paper, we construct a deep learning network based on sparse autoencoder and optimal SVM classifier to diagnosis the gear fault conditions. The proposed spare autoencoder (SAE) is used to exploit the fused features of multi-source vibration data which is represented at the bottleneck of SAE (BtSAE). The fused features are then used to train and identify the gear fault condition. a new diagnosis technique for multi-level fault gear. This is a new approach method applied in diagnosing gear faults. The experimental results prove that the proposed method operates highly effective and mostly feasible for identifying gear faults in practice. By applying this method, the results will be more accurate and will shorten the time cost. A Monte Carlo method for determining the intrinsic and extrinsic efficiencies detection of a CR-39 solid-state nuclear track detector (SSNTD) was developed. This method is based on the simulation of the trajectory of alpha particles with energy Ei emitted by the uranium and thorium series inside a natural material samples (for example phosphate), placed in a cylindrical capsule in contact with the SSNTD. The study of the convergence of the Monte Carlo approach shows that for 107 histories. The influence of the radius of the detector CR-39 and the cylindrical capsule on these efficiencies has been studied. The variation of these efficiencies as a function of the alpha particles initial energy Ei was also investigated. Groundnut shells were modified through functionalization and carbonization processes to produce three distinct GS-HCLC, GS-KOHC and GS-TPP adsorbents for adsorption of Pb (II) ions from aqueous solution. Adsorption studies was carried out under varying conditions of pH, contact time, adsorbent dosage, metal ion concentration and temperature after the results were documented. Batch adsorption experiments revealed that the highest adsorption capacities were observed at a pH of 11 and the adsorption process was dependent upon changes in contact time for all adsorbents. Adsorption capacity was observed to increase with increase in adsorbent dosage and decrease with increase in lead ion concentration across all adsorbents during the adsorption of Nickel ions from the aqueous medium.
