Metrological properties of a flat voltammetric electrode on whose surface a quasi-reversible electrochemical reaction takes place were being analyzed in this paper. The conducted analysis showed that such an electrode functions like a measuring converter type I. Its metrological properties in the time domain are defined by sensitivity and a time constant. Results of the simulations proved that these parameters depend on values of indicated ions, a voltammetric electrode construction and parameters of the polarizing voltage. 7-aminocephalosporanic acid (7-ACA) is an important intermediate compound for producing of most cephalosporin derivatives. It could be synthetized by conversion of cephalosporin C (CPC) in single step using cephalosporin acylase. The application enzymatic conversion is hampered by low activity of enzyme using CPC as the main substrate. Modification of AcyII Genes from Pseudomonas SE83 produced a high-activity S12 variant on CPC. Based on S12 variant sequence, a synthetic gene was constructed and subsequently transformed to E. coli. The expression of target proteins were performed using LB medium supplemented with ampicillin. Preliminary experiments showed that the target protein (CPC acylase) partially remained as the inclusion bodies......... This paper introduces commercial motorcycle as a popular and useful para-transit mode in Nigeria. After reviewing the historic background of this transport mode, it points out its safety problem, nothing that it has been difficult to address this problem. It goes further to review several studies on commercial motorcycle but notes that their findings and recommendations have not improved safety performance in commercial motorcycle operation. Presenting the concepts of driver behavior, and organizational culture and climate it suggests the use of the principles identified in these concepts to address commercial motorcycle safety problem. These principles include developing solutions that take cognizance of the influences on driver behaviour as well as developing policies that can tackle commercial motorcycle operating culture so as to improve its safety climate. In this paper, a description of the model of the radiation state of anuclear facility is developed and the composition of the model is outlined. The problems of the formation of the engineering-radiation model of the nuclear facility are considered on the basis of the engineering model of radiation inspectionand gamma radiation calculations depending on the radionuclide composition, the activity of radiation sources, and also their geometric sizes and shapes.Knowing the flux density of gamma quanta of all energies at a given point, one can obtain the absorbed dose rate in the detector and calculate the equivalent dose rate at that point. The laws of conservation are the most essential laws of physics. They are universal, strong and unshakable in space and time and are fulfilled always and everywhere. However in 1956 happened a wreck one of these laws. It was the law of conservation of parity for weak interactions. At first American scientists Lee Czun-dao and Yang Chzhen-nin proved theoretically that this law for weak interactions was not fulfilled. Then professor Wu Czyan-syun whith collaborators in Columbian University got the first experimental evidence of fall parity for weak interactions in β-disintegration of radioactive Cobalt-60. In order to test the performance of solar sensors that are installed with a particular layout on the satellite body, laboratory testing is required. Therefore, facilities and hospitalization should be provided so that in the presence of physical agents, such as sunlight, they can actually see the results. The solar simulator is a device used in space laboratories to test solar sensors. In this paper, the optical system and light source of the solar mobile simulator are designed according to the requirements of the test conditions. This optical system consists of a halogen light source, a parallel lens, a flat mirror and a meter that has a surface level of three degrees of freedom of the satellite's location in the test bed. The results of the optical system analysis in the Zemaxsoftware show the proper performance of the system, including the intensity of light, the diameter of the stain and the uniformity of the received light at the level of the data. Permanent magnet synchronous motors are widely used due to their high power to volume ratio and performance. Every application has its own requirements for the motor. Therefore, their design optimization process is getting more complex. It is recommended to think over the parameters at the beginning of optimization. Too much parameters may result in a too complex solution but if one of the important ones is left out the process is incomplete. The main task of an optimization is to find the parameters which mainly influence the properties of the product. Keywords - Cogging torque, optimization, sizing, pmsm. @article{key:article,

This research on optimization of production cost and distribution network was carried out in the Nigerian Bottling Company (NBC) which has many production facilities and multi -products systems. Three plants and twenty two warehouses within the South-South and South-East region of Nigeria were selected for this study. Production operations of the three plants were monitored and data obtained were analyzed using operations research technique. A mathematical model that captured supply chain network problems of the company was developed using mixed-integer programming approach. At this work the propagation of natural waves in dissipative inhomogeneous planar bodies is discussed. Wave motions are described by linear integral-differential equations. A bituminous paving mixture is a mixture of coarse aggregate, fine aggregate, and bitumen mixed in suitable proportion to result in the strong and durable mix in order to withstand traffic load. In this paving mix, ordinary stone dust, and cement used as filler material. One of the main problems in the construction of bituminous paving mixture is the insufficient amount of filler from crushing stone aggregate, and cement supply is low. A study has been carried out in this research to explore the use of Brick dust as filler material for the bituminous mixture. In liquid crystal display (LCD) panels, there are two polarizing films and liquid crystal tunes the polarization of backlight. As large the size of the panel is, the polarizing film becomes expensive because of the fabrication cost of the film. Wire grid polarizers (WGPs), which consist of metal wires on a transparent substrate, could be the alternative for the large area LCD panels. In this study, we investigate the effect of the geometry of the wire grid polarizer on the contrast ratio, which is an important property in LCD device. We conduct a simulation with WGPs in different tip shapes and different design of protection dielectric layers and extract the data for obtaining contrast ratios. The contrast ratio of the WGPs with sloped edges is lower than that of WGPs with straight edges. In addition, dielectric layers should not fill the gap between the metal lines to ensure high contrast ratio.
