Implementation of lightweight low-ductility materials such as ultra-high strength steels, has become urgently needed for automotive manufacturers to improve the competitiveness of their products. Automotive industry is focusing on lightweight and high strength materials. The aim of the research was to evaluate the influence of the parameters of steel laser welding on the qualitative indicators of butt welds. A tensile test and yeld strength test were performed on selected samples, where the strength of welded joints was determined.

Paper Title :: Sea Urchins Life Cycle and the Effect on the Environment

Sea urchins are marine animals that have been widely studied due to the environmental implications on their lifecycle, hence a demonstration of the global climatic changes. Although the exact implications are still a point of discussion among researchers, the reproduction of the sea urchins from the production and fertilization of eggs to the growth and development has numerous implications on the environment, just like that of other marine poikilothermic animals. This study showed that the changes in the climatic conditions have a significant impact on the different life stages of the sea urchins. The most fundamental environmental factors are the temperature, pH of the water, winds, precipitation, latitude, and water salinity. Although most of the studies have focused on the larvae stage and the adult stage, it is notable that a certain impact in one stage is likely to affect the next stage.

Paper Title :: Deep Learning Algorithm for Identifying Microplastics in Open Sewer Systems: A Systematic Review

Microplastics (MPs) are small and tiny particles of plastics. They originate from macroplastics that have broken apart in the ocean. Plastic could also be broken apart due to weathering from the sun, wind, or other causes. The microbeads in many personal care products, such as toothpaste and facial scrubs also count as Microplastics. These Microplastics are destructive to marine habitats. MPs have been known to kill fish and other organisms that fish feed on. Blue economy management has attempted to control the spread of MPs in water bodies. This research was conducted to find out the work that has been done towards Deep Learning algorithms that identify features in pictorial images and which best Deep Learning algorithm can be used in identification of Microplastics......

The research purposed to evaluate the effect of Myristic acid supplementation and condensed tannins sourced from Calliandra leaf flour on a complete feed based corn straw on proximate analysis and Crude Protein Digestibility (CPD). Research was conducted in vitro (Tilley and Terry, 1963). The treatment used was : P1= Complete Feed (40% corn straw + 60% concentrate), P2 = Complete feed (40% corn straw + 60% concentrate + 0% Calliandra leaf flour + Myristic acid 30 grams/kgDM, P3= Complete feed (40% corn straw + 35% concentrate + 25% Calliandra leaf flour + Myristic acid 30 grams/kgDM, P4= Complete feed (40% corn straw + 30% concentrate + 30% Calliandra leaf flour +......
