Convolutional neural network (CNN) has been developed rapidly in deep learning areas, and has become a hot studying topic in image applications. High efficiency video coding (HEVC) is the newest video coding standard. The HEVC standard can achieve high coding efficiency with a lower bitrate for intra frame coding. However, it still needs many bits to finish best rate-distortion (R-D) curve. Since there are only 35 directions prediction modes provided in intra prediction module (IPM), HEVC occurs a large distortion when the image contents are out of these prediction directions. In other words, HEVC can achieve high coding performance when the image contents match these 35 prediction directions. In order to obtain a better R-D curve, Zhang et al. [3] recently proposed a simple CNN (S-CNN) to..... Keywords -High efficiency video coding, deep learning, convolutional neural network. @article{key:article,

An oven is an enclosed compartment for heating, backing and drying. It is commonly used in cooking and pottery. The electric oven requires heat for specific period of time for sterilization to be achieved. This oven like any other is designed and constructed to bake bread and meat pie, dry fish, meat and other food items to preserve them. This work involves the design and construction of a closed system with inner and outer casting of 1.5mm mild steel plate. Material selected for the project includes mild steel sheets, square pipes, heating element, thermostat, and rolling wheels which are all cut and joined together using the welding process. The main source of power for the oven is electricity.......... KEYWORDS: Heat, Design, Construction, Electricity, Materials, Volume, Power, Current, Voltage.. @article{key:article,

This study aimed to determine the concentration of heavy metals (Cu, Zn, Cd, and Pb) in popular vegetables cultivated in Bagerhat, Bangladesh, and to assess the associated health risks of local inhabitants. The decreasing sequence of the concentrations (mean and range) of studied heavy metals in all types of vegetables was as follows: Cu (12.251, 0.161-43.216) > Zn (10.311, 0.187-35.822) > Pb (1.036, 0.032-3.015) mg kg-1 fresh weight. The concentrations of heavy metal were also compared with the reference value and it was found that the average concentrations of Pb in most of the studied vegetable samples exceeded the permissible limit, which was a matter of health issue. Significant positive correlations were found in Cu–Zn (r=0.753), Cu–Cd (r=0.822), Cu–Pb (r=0.612), Zn–Cd (r=0.725), and Cd–Pb (r=0.729) at p < 0.05 significant level; indicating a common source of pollution. Various health... KEYWORDS: Heavy metals, Risk assessment, THQ, TCR, HI, Vegetables, Bangladesh @article{key:article,

Water is one of the vital natural resources for living on earth. However, rapid industrialization and urbanization cause the formation of great amounts of the wastewater containing various pollutants.Water pollution is a major problem worldwide. Intensive industrial and agricultural activities; toxic heavy metals, organic compounds, phenols, pesticides and different pollutants such as waste water and cause serious environmental pollution.Pesticides are toxic organic compounds used to protect plants, increase agricultural yields and prevent plant diseases. Organic pesticides are a general name for bioactive compounds that harm human health and ecosystems. Pesticides are compounds designed to be toxic to plant pests and sources of disease. As the world population grows, new and powerful pesticides are needed......... In the sheet metal forming process, in this case micro-alloyed steel H220 exhibits springback effect, which is governed by strain recovery of material after the load removal. In this work, numerical simulation of a V-shape part bending was performed and compared with experimental data. Springback is related to many parameters like forming conditions, tool geometry and material properties such as sheet thickness, yield stress, work hardening, strain rate sensitivity and elasticity modulus. In this contribution, the influence of process conditions on springback effect of V - shaped part made of micro-alloyed steel was investigated. In the numerical simulation, two types of Yield criterion: Hill48 and Barlat were used in combination with Swift and Ludwik hardening models. Achieved data from numerical simulation were compared with experimental test results. KEYWORDS: Bending, springback prediction, sheet metal forming, micro-alloyed steel @article{key:article,

Agriculture in the twenty-first century is reinventing itself as a new global business reshaped by globalization, standardization, high-value production, massive growth in demand (both for the food and the bio-fuel industries), retail and packaging innovations, and a ramp up in effectiveness. Faced with constant productivity and market pressures, the "new agriculture" needs new tools to improve its competitiveness and innovation power. One of these tools is the promotion of technology-based processing. Though Bangladesh has improved in agro productivity but agricultural industry is lacking in proper post-harvest management, lack of effective policies, lack of technologies and modern concepts......... From 2017 until 2021, floods occurred in the Unda Watershed. To provide information related to flood disasters in the Unda Watershed, a mapping of vulnerable areas is needed. Flood hazards can be identified quickly, easily, and accurately through the Geographical Information System using the overlay method. This research can be used as the initial basis for decision-making for flood disaster mitigation strategy according to the location and level of vulnerability so that the negative impact of flooding in the Unda Watershed can be minimized. This research uses an overlay method with scoring between existing parameters, where a scoring process carries out each parameter by giving the weight and value according to each classification which is then overlaid. Based on the results of the overlay map of precipitation........... KEYWORDS: Flood; Geographic Information System; Mapping, Mitigation; Vulnerability. @article{key:article,
