Atrazine (ATZ) is a herbicide commonly used in the United States and several countries but it is a controversial pesticide. Obesity, neuroendocrine effects, and birth defects have been associated with elevated levels of ATZ in the environment. The type of soil and other environmental conditions affect the level of risk of ATZ contamination in the environment. The Bioagent Transport and Environmental Modeling System has been used in several countries to assess risk of biological/chemical contaminants in the environment. In this study, BioTEMS and geographic information systems were used to identify relative risk in Bulloch County, Georgia, an area important to agricultural production in the southeastern United States.

In this paper, a cuckoo search algorithm (CSA) is presented to solve the dynamic economic dispatch (DED) problem considering valve-point effects, the ramp rate limits and transmission losses. The practical DED problems have non-smooth cost function with equality and inequality constraints, which make the problem of finding the global optimum difficult when using any mathematical approaches. Cuckoo search algorithm is a new meta-heuristic algorithm. It is a nature-based searching technique which is inspired from the obligate brood parasitism of some cuckoo species by laying their eggs in the nests oh other host birds of other species. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm has been verified on 10 unit generation system for a 24 h time interval. The results are compared with the results reported in the literature.

The Kon Tum province of Vietnam country has been industrialising and modernising with rapid pace and it has much contributed to the socio – economic development of not only the province itself but also to the country in general. However, accompanied with the development there have been emerged many environmental issues. In oder to provide reliable and scientific data, information for policy makers and bussiness managers as well, the research related to assessing the current environmental quality in Kon Tum province, thenceforth proposing measures for efficient environmental management in the province has been implemented. The results gained from the research implementation show that: quality..........

The transportation problem is one of the earliest applications of linear programming problems. In the survey of literature, several methods are proposed for solving transportation problems in fuzzy environment but in all the proposed methods, the parameters are normal fuzzy numbers. In this paper, a general fuzzy transportation problem is discussed. In the proposed method, transportation cost, availability and demand of the product are represented by triangular fuzzy numbers. We develop fuzzy version of Vogel's algorithms for finding fuzzy optimal solution of fuzzy transportation problem. This is due to uncertainty and impreciseness when the sets are translated into numerical values so a device is necessary to solve these problems Crisp values are used in complicated formulations and equations to get optimal results. A numerical example is given to show the efficiency of the method.

The research is to test the effect of service quality and tax payer's satisfaction to the obedience of paying motorized vehicle tax in the Kendari office of one roof system. The data collection technique used in this research is documentation and questionnaires. The samples used in this research is 98 compulsory motorized vehicle tax that is registered in Kendari office of one roof system. The analysis method used is multiple linear regressions. The result of this research is to show that service quality affects significantly to the obedience of paying motorized vehicle tax. This statement is supported by the first hypothesis test result, which is (thitung = 4,294> ttabel = 1,661) or with the significant degree of 0,000 < α = 0,05, so that H1 is accepted, thus, service quality affects significantly partially to the obedience of paying motorized vehicle tax...........

Cryptocurrency is a digital currency designed to work as a medium of exchange using cryptography to secure the transactions, to control the creation of additional units, and to verify the transfer of assets. The objective of this study is to evaluate the volatility condition for cryptocurrency (Bitcoin) exchange rate and return. Volatility calculated as standard deviation of logarithmic returns. This study performed normality test using Shapiro-Wilk method. Then, the high volatility detection performed using box-whisker plot and statistical process control chart. In descriptive statistical analysis, the mean for Bitcoin return is 0.006 and the deviation is 0.04458. The standard error indicates the volatility for Bitcoin is 4.458 %. This value is considered as high value of volatility. High value of volatility indicates the investment in Bitcoin is categorical as high risk investment. The important of this study is to assist investors to develop better investment portfolio in targeting better profit and lowering the loss.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the influence of pre-exercise muscle irradiation with various low-level laser therapy (LLLT) wavelengths and doses on skeletal muscle performance and fatigue after muscle contractions in in-situ mouse model using gastrocnemius muscle. Thirty-nine Swiss mice were arbitrarily allocated into control group and twelve LLLT irradiated groups receiving one of four different laser doses in the range 0.25-3.0 J from one of three wavelengths (637, 785 and 1064 nm) at one point on the gastrocnemius muscle before the fatigue protocol induced by electrical stimulation. Skeletal muscle fatigue was defined by fatigue index, half-relaxation time and force-time integration for all the 140 muscle contractions. At the 70th contraction, five laser irradiated groups (637 nm 0.5 J, 785 nm 0.5 J, 785 nm 0.75 J, 1064 nm 0.5 J and 1064 nm 1.5 J) had a significant...........

Information and Communication: Technology (ICT), a merger of two technologies; Information Technology (IT) and Communication Technology (CT) to form Information and Communication Technology (ICT) made it possible for combined information processing and communication. Email, a consequence of ICT is one of the fastest means of communication worldwide. ICT is complex thus, the need for the ICT Policies for managing ICT resources. While the benefits of ICT in public institutions cannot be disputed, there are several concerns about its success as well as the strategies to be adopted in implementation of systems in various countries. The main purpose of the research was thus to analyse the factors influencing technological acceptance model on the successful implementation of ICT policies in public institutions in Kenya specifically Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology..........

The sample used in number as many as 96 Employees. Hypothesis testing is done using the Structural Equation Modeling with WarphPLS Ver. 5.0 as research equipment. The results of the study provide evidence that competence significantly effect on OCB and performance management. Competence, OCB and performance management significantly effect on Structural Equation Modeling. OCB employee shown proven can act as a mediator in analyzing the effect of competence on organizational effectiveness. Performance management is not able to act as a mediator in explaining the effect of competence on organizational effectiveness.

The main propose of this article is to discuss an approximate but computationally manageable gridwork solution of plate problems as an application of finite element method. This method implies each discrete element can be defined as an extension of the discrete parameter approach based on the exact stiffness, obtained by exact shape functions for the beam element to extend for solution of complicate two-dimensional plate problems
