There are many determining factors for improving business performance including market leadership orientation, investment level, and innovation strategy. Therefore, research is needed on the determining factors of improving the performance of small and medium micro enterprises (MSMEs). The population in this study is MSME of marine fish processing home industry in Bangkalan Regency, Madura, Indonesia. Data collection is through surveys with respondents selected purposively as many as 162 of these MSME entrepreneurs. The research measuring instrument used was a questionnaire with a 1-5 Likert scale. Data from the respondents were then analyzed in SEM, the Lisrel program............

This paper presents an optimal sizing of PV/diesel hybrid micro-grid system (HMGS) with battery energy storage using multi-objective bat algorithm (MOBA). The proposed method aims at finding the configuration, among a set of systems components, which meets the desired system reliability requirements, with the lowest value of levelised cost of energy. Modelling a hybrid PV/diesel/battery system is considered as the first step in the optimal sizing procedure. The second step consists to optimize the sizing of a system according to the loss of power supply probability (LPSP) and the levelised cost of energy (LCOE) concepts. Considering various types and capacities of system devices, the configurations which can meet the desired system reliability are obtained by changing the type and size of the devices systems.........

Binder-jet 3D printing is one of the additive manufacturing (AM) techniques employed in the fabrication of intricate parts, by utilizingmetalpowders. Manyimplementations of AM existfrom areas as diverse as the foodindustry to biomedicalengineering;such a broad-spectrum usage of thistechnologymakesitextremely attractive whencombinedwithitslowcost, reliability, color range, and complexityabilities. [1]. In this work, a method of making metal matrix composite was adopted which involves printing metal samples from gas atomized powder and infiltrating a lower melting metal into the porous sites of the sample. To achieve this, gas atomized structural amorphous metal (SAM) alloy powder was used for Binder-jet 3D printing of the base samples, while Bronze pellets were utilized for unpressurized liquid metal infiltration because of its lower melting temperature and high ductility. The SAM alloy powder was first characterized by Morphologi G3. The samples obtained were characterized by scanning electron microscopy.............

In this work we use a numerical scheme based on fractional step method to solve the initial-boundary value problem arising from the modeling of the plane Couette flow by the eight velocity spatial Broadwell model. We show that the scheme is convergent and we perform a comparison with an exact solution. A good agreement is observed.

This study assessed the maintenance of property using GIS-Based approach in Gombe, Nigeria. The study embarked on physical inspection of general condition of the residential quarters. The data for the study were collected using structured questionnaire administered to the occupant of the houses. The collected data were analyzed using Geographical Information System (GIS) and frequency distribution tables. The study revealed that (46%) of the houses are in excellent condition, (41%) are in good condition, while (3%) of the houses are in poor condition. The study highly recommend the use of GIS-Based property maintenance be put to use to enhance effective maintenance work management, easy storing and retrieval of data.

The traditional spare parts of ductile cast iron were produced for the production of gear under casting conditions and treated with extrapolators. The results showed that the properties of the structure obtained were not thought to be the best, but should be viewed as reasonable with reasonable controls. (880 ° C) for 1 hour and then the austempering review at 200 ° C for 20, 40, 80 and 160 minutes to study the effect on microstructure and mechanical properties, tensile strength, hardness, durability and corrosion resistance.

In the current study, the feasibility of using Rice Husk Ash (RHA) to remove Malachite Green Dye (MG) from waste water has been explored as a low cost and eco-friendly adsorbent. Effecting factors like adsorbate concentrations by varying the amount of adsorbent, temperature, pH, initial concentrations, contact time and agitation speeds on the adsorption of malachite green were examined using batch experiments. With the aid of UV-Spectrophotometer, the concentration of MG was calculated for before and after adsorption. Characterization of RHA was done with advanced techniques like DLS, XRD, FTIR and SEM/EDS. Thermodynamics parameters like ΔH°, ΔS° and ΔG° were estimated. Adsorption isotherms and adsorption kinetics were plotted and the best suitable fitting models were advised.
